I love the sparkle and fun of an embellished sweater. They are a great way to add a little pretty to a comfy cozy sweater. I have been eyeing a couple gorgeous embellished sweaters lately and thought it would be fun to make my own. I have had a couple necklaces that I wanted to repurpose in some way and this was the perfect opportunity.

You will need:
a cozy sweater ( I used one from Target)
pretty nick backs ( I used pearls, buttons, pieces from my old necklace)
hot glue gun
I always keep a small bowl of loose buttons for random projects. I don't sew so repurposing them is the perfect way to put them to use.
I took a couple of the lighter colored flowers off my older necklace with pliers.
I set up the buttons, pearls and flowers just how I liked them and started gluing away.
There is no right or wrong in the fun project. Whatever you like and whatever you have works.
