Patio furniture faves

We are about three weeks out from our back yard hardscaping being done! Now onto the fun part of decorating it all! We love a fresh, inviting, cheery coastal feel. We are continuing our pallet of neutral tans, fresh white and blues from the inside to the outside. We are excited to entertain and have focused our hardscaping on lots of seating options. We will have bench seating in the bbq, barstools at the countertop, a long family style table, smaller dining table and chairs for coffee sipping, fire pit with bench and comfy loungers. Lots and lots of seats! We envision packing the yard with our friends and family all eating yummy bbq and kids frolicking and playing yard games all summer! We can’t wait! Fall Tablescape inspiration

As I curled up with my Fall Magnolia Journal, I came upon their article talking of soup gatherings. A simple meal for your dearest friends to gather and enjoy each other's company.  The whole mission is to create a standing date of soup, gathering and quality time  No fuss !  I of course don't mind a little fuss so I decided to create a lovely tables cape to accompany my launching of the monthly " Soup Sioree" ( yes I gave it a name). I have so many incredible friends and wanted to mix up my group a bit and grab some of my most dynamic.  I have 3 girlfriends coming over for lunch tomorrow.  One is a fine art photographer, one a self made bad ass attorney with her own practice and another attorney with the most impeccable home decor taste I have ever seen! Just interesting, cool, funny ladies.  Some of us know each other better than others and some not at all. Love that part!  I can't wait to see where our conversations lead.

 I am prepping an easy Ablondigas soup which is hearty and all things yummy.  I created an airy table filled with Fall feels yet kept things coastal like I love.  I topped my layered grass cloth and striped runners with straw chargers and beaded plates that we received as wedding gifts. I love how simple pieces can be refreshed over and over.  I added more texture with a simple plaid patterned napkin and an adorable vessel for our soup.  For my runner, I grabbed pumpkins from our porch and foliage from our yard to bring nature in.  I added Hearth and Home pieces to make things personal and warm.

Denim and sparkle

Why not go for a little sparkle every now and then? I adore sequins...maybe because growing up dancing we were covered in them since as long as we could remember.  Either way, they make me happy!  Paired with my favorite Alice + Olivia pumps and understated chambray top it's the perfect combo to dress down the shimmer!

Sugar and Spice

Sugar and spice and everything nice is the perfect phrase to describe little girls.  I am so lucky to have sweet little princess' and we often are indulging out sweet tooth at our local Casey's Cupcakes.  Capri favors anything with rainbow sprinkles, Peyton likes anything pink and mommy goes for the Cinnamon Sugar.

Leopard and leather

I have been on a moto jacket kick and wanted to find a fabulous reasonably priced one to rock all Fall and Winter.  Not only is this one completely swoon worthy it's super duper reasonable!  SCORE!!  I feel like they are the easiest way to edge up any outfit.  I snagged this super comfy maxi dress and added a belt to add some waistline.  Voila!  Perfect night out on the town!

I'm very serious!

I always joke that I'm basically the most uncool person alive!  I'm definately the self depricating, beat them to the punch sort of gal! I know I'm all prep and girly but this outfit did leave me feeling all sorts of major! Fun cat eye glasses, leather blazer and fun strappy sandals!  Ya, it just got pretty serious!!!

Tangerine Sparkle

Sparkles and tangerine....enough said!!  I love the ease of a cute peplum top and shorts.  I always gravitate to the nautical and stripes and with these fun girly flats all is perfect!  I nabbed these randomly at DSW and scored!  They are so sweet and just the right amount of sparkle.
