It's my big 30 birthday today and I can't lie and say it feel great and yet I'm in some way mourning the recklessness of the 20's. I never lived recklessly and to be honest don't feel like I ever would. But in your 20's if you didn't get it right it was okay because you were young still. I'm officially a big girl! I have been living as a big girl for a while now but now it's official! 7 years of marriage and 2 gorgeous babies later the 30's are looking good. I chopped my hair in search of freshness. I want to be lighter. I want to keep my life in perspective and focus on the now instead of the future. I want to savor and live in the present. Life is going by so fast in and this next decade I'm planning to fully live this big girl life ahead. I hope to grow strong, amazing girls and support a beautiful marriage. I plan to thrive in work and grow in life. It's up from here.
